In my continuing posts on an introduction to brand storytelling, here’s a quick and handy tip for you.

When sitting down to write the brand story for your business, it is very easy to start to fall into the trap of framing the whole thing around your products and services.

Well, I have one word for you here – don’t!

A brand story is all about focusing on the ideas and mindsets that you want to foster in the minds of people.

The best brand stories are the ones that create meaning, create a connection and help us make sense of the world.

This is where you need to focus.
