Ok, so… the bars, pubs, cafes, and restaurants have closed, and pretty much all major events have been cancelled. Sure, you could say all the fun stuff has been taken away.
Well, here’s some food for thought for those of you that have been forced to work (and do pretty much everything else) from home at the moment.
One of two things is going to happen over the next few months.
You will become an unwashed, overweight, alcoholic, Netflix binging couch potato as you sit and feel sorry for yourself about the whole situation you’ve suddenly found yourself in.
You make the call right now to consciously focus on both your physical and mental health and well being and decide not to eat and drink yourself into oblivion.
What’s it going to be?
If you choose number 1 (of which I’m seriously worried that far too many will), then good luck to you. I’ll see you on the other side as the world grapples with an all new obesity epidemic.
If you choose number 2, then I seriously applaud you.
I’m with you. My exercise regime is already in place, and instead of getting caught up with all the ‘doom and gloomers’, I’m instead listening to and being inspired by the people that are innovating and coming up with some really clever ideas as to how we can all get through this.
Seek them out. They’re not hard to find.
Now is the time, MORE THAN EVER to be paying attention to your health.
We’ve all been dealt a very difficult hand of cards to play with here.
It’s up to you as an individual as to exactly how you play them.
Have a fantastic day, and please stop buying up all the toilet paper. 😊
