Writing can be challenging.
There are times when you will feel that what you are producing is substandard and just not good enough.
Other times, writers block will cast its spell over you and no matter how hard you try, quite simply nothing will come out.
Then you start to question your potential, your abilities and whether you can even call yourself a professional writer. Yep, that’s when imposter syndrome creeps in.
At times like this, it can be so tempting to just throw your hands up in the air and be done with it.
If you want to succeed in the long term, you need to ignore that voice in your head that is feeding all those negative thoughts. Instead, drown that voice out with the gentle sound of tapping on your keyboard or gliding a pen across your notepad.
The reality is that you need to put in the hours when nobody is watching. You must be creating while nobody is consuming.
Keep writing and never stop honing your craft.
